| Academics - Admission Requirements - Diploma in Music | |||
| Applicants must possess one of the following categories of qualifications and experience: | |||
Four (4) credit passes at the G.C.E. “O” Level including; |

| - Mathematics | |||
| - Music | |||
|
Four (4) credit passes at the SSSCE including; |
- English | ||
| - Mathematics | |||
| - Music | |||
|
Four (4) credit passes at the G.C.E /SSSCE but without Music. |

| - Such applicants must pass an Entrance Examination and an interview. | |||
|
Candidates with three (3) G.C.E passes and the Associated Board of
the Royal Schools of Music |
|||
| (ABRSM) Theory Grade 5 or above. Such candidates will be examined and interviewed. | |||
|
Post-Secondary Teacher’s Certificate holders who also have ABRSM
Theory Grade 5 or above. |

| These applicants must pass an Entrance Examination and an interview. | |||
| Mature
applicants with Keyboard and Vocal skills, Choirmasters, Church Organists
and Music
Directors wishing to upgrade their music proficiency and to hone their
skills must pass an Entrance Examination
and an interview. The minimum age for this category of applicants
is Twenty-five (25) years. |

| In the case of all WASSCE/SSSCE applicants, the aggregate score for the core and elective subjects must not be more than 24. | |||
