To them the college’s history could not be complete without the establishment of vibrant alumni to assist their Alma Mater.

From humble beginnings MUCG now has over 5000 students, faculty blocks and a serene atmosphere for learning. This means that there are over 1000 past students from MUCG who can pool resources together and team up with the management to shape the future of MUCG and help her attain fame among the league of universities worldwide.

An interim executive council was inducted into office and is expected to consolidate the gains made so far by entering the membership base and engaging corporate institutions in its programmes and develop our Alma Mater.

MISSION STATEMENT, GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

• The Mission Statement

To create a large platform for Methodist University College Ghana and its alumni to come together and mutually develop and expand the University to become a preferred learning place of excellence, produce best human resource personnel for the corporate world and above all be a major player among tertiary institutions in the country and beyond within the next ten years.

• The Goals of the Association shall be:

• To contribute towards the improvement of the current as well as the development of new curriculum and programs at Methodist University College Ghana;
• To raise financial and material resources for efficient and effective teaching and learning as well as the general well being of students and staff at Methodist University College Ghana;
• To develop and help maintain active alumni interactions and enhance the image of Methodist University College Ghana through self-enrichment, career development and role modeling in the wider society.

• The Objectives of the Association shall be:

• to enhance and maintain links among members of the alumni and between alumni and Methodist University College Ghana;
• to assist needy  students of Methodist University College Ghana by contributing to their academic requirements such as book allowances and fees;
• to provide support to Methodist University College Ghana Library by donating and/or assisting the library access documentary resources;
• to provide incentives such as rewards and prizes to the best student, researcher and best alumni models with proven record of significant contribution to society and industry in Ghana;
• to devise ways and means of raising funds for the Association and Methodist University College Ghana;
• to encourage alumni to develop their respective careers through use of college resources and support from staff;
• to initiate seminars, lecturers and other academic functions for the benefit of alumni and Methodist University College Ghana;
• to create and support projects deemed necessary at Methodist University College Ghana; and
• to enhance the image of Methodist University College Ghana and promote Methodist University College Ghana as a premiere local, regional and international institution of excellence in …… (we would state all the courses offered)
