Students were helped to
understand the importance of University values and involvement;
to familiarize the new students with the college experience; and
to introduce students to the wealth of MUCG resources.
The group was noted that they were the largest group of all the batches
admitted since the inception of the University.
Welcoming the group, the Principal of the University College Very
Rev. Prof. Samuel K. Adjepong advised the group to pay much attention
to character building which is seen as useful to the global economy
at large.
He told them that MUCG will and is ready to help them achieve their
goals as students so that they justify what they deliver after life
in MUCG.
He cautioned students to plan to succeed to be educated and not only
to acquire knowledge. He called on them to participate fully in the
forth coming 10th anniversary scheduled for next year and will be
lunch at the coming congregation in November, 2009.
In attendance were the Vice principal, Registrar, Deans from the various
Faculties and heads of departments. |
